In the world Today not everyone wants your progress, some for some damn reasons while some for no reason. This is no different to the case of some of these popular celebraties who were killed by someone or group of people.

Here are eight (8) Celebraties who were killed on one occasion or the other.

1. John Lennon

On Dec. 8, 1980, Lennon was shot multiple times by a trouble fan named John David Chapman outside of his home in New York. Lennon died from his injuries.




2. Tupac Shakur


On Sept. 7, 1996, Shakur popularly known as Tupac was shot while riding in a car in Las Vegas. He died six days later at a local hospital. The killer is still unknown.

3. Notorious B.I.G

On March 9, 1997, B.I.G. was shot four times during a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. The killer is still unknown.

4. Gianni Versace
On July 15, 1997, the Italian fashion designer was killed on the steps of his Florida home by Andrew Cunanan. The motive is unclear, but Cunanan committed suicide several days later.

5. Sharon Tate
The actress and model was killed Aug. 8, 1969 by followers of Charles Manson. Tate was 8 months pregnant with director Roman Polanski's child.

6. Selena


Selena was shot and killed by Yolanda Saldivar, the founder of the Selena fan club

 7. Marvin Gaye

 Gaye was killed by his father on April 1, 1984, following a domestic dispute.

 8. Adrienne Shelly
Shelly was hanged to death on Nov. 1, 2006 by Diego Pillco, a construction worker.
